5) You need to change your eating habits. If in the past you ate all sorts of junk food or sweets, you will need to stop eating them. You need to be making more healthier food choices when you go shopping. Make sure to buy healthier cuts of lean meats, vegetables, and fruits. Whenever you eat, eat a lot more fruits and vegetables than your other main course. A really neat idea is to divide your plate in half, where half your plate is vegetables. The other side can be lean meats, fish and any other healthy choice.
May be that shows, there is no harm in this. It looks perfectly normal but for many this is not normal at all. The reason of tired and fatigued feelings during lunch hour is because of the diet. The chances are that a person had a sugar and a carbohydrate rich breakfast. Then you had a same type of lunch. This makes a vicious circle. It is a roller coaster and it is important to get off from such roller coaster for maintaining better health.
Many people think they can’t make big changes in their life. But, do you think you could make just one healthy change in the next week – even a small one. You see, it’s all about taking “small steps.” If you can make just one small change each week, then by the end of one year you will have made 52 healthy changes! Try to plan your perfect meals. For instance, a healthy breakfast could take many forms: fruit, cereal, healthy sandwiches, etc. I personally like to start the day with a glass of freshly squeezed juice or piece of fruit, some oats and sometimes toast.
Here is something to keep in mind: It’s not setting the goals that create stress, it’s the emotional expectations you’ve created about achieving the goals. Stress is often created by placing unrealistic expectations on yourself.
Stock your refrigerator with low fat milk, fruit juices, fresh fruits, reduced fat cheeses, low fat yogurt, fresh veggies, fresh grilled or baked chicken, turkey, and fish, apple sauce, low fat cottage cheese, and bottled water. These choices are all good for you and provides the fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals your body needs to stay healthy and strong.
And don’t be afraid to ask and if they give you an answer that you are not content with, simply just don’t order that meal. If you have committed yourself to eating healthy do not let any stand in your way.
